RITA finalist

I was awakened this morning at 7am pacific time with the good news that Wicked Lovely is one of the finalists in the Young Adult category for the RITA awards. I'm pretty sure I was inarticulate in my response, because I'd only been asleep for a couple hours at that point, but I suspect that my squealing and "thank you, thank you's" made clear how very excited I am. Like with all good news, I immediately told my family, the folks at Harper, and Jeaniene. Even though I don't really have computer access, in my tradition of sharing my whole journey with you, I didn't want to wait until I got back in town to share the unexpected happy news. 

Radio silence resumes. Back to the SoCal beach :).
